Kolt Polish Sponging ft. MASH plates

Today I have, what I think, is a fun and colorful mani using Kolt polishes and MASH nail art products.
For this stamping base, I used Kolt HD polishes in Power Blue and Pink LED, as well as Kolt Dual Chromes in Universe and Aurora Boreal over China Glaze Liquid Leather.
For the stamping, I used the MASH Silver Glitter stamping polish and the MASH-39 plate.
I'm still new to stamping so I'm not well experienced with it yet, however I've loved experimenting with these polishes and plates. The stamping polishes come off so opaque, giving a nice and full design. (When I don't mess it up!) I absolutely love the combination of colors and the stamping design together.

The Kolt polishes can be purchased from Harlow & Co. for $6-7 each.
You can find the MASH Silver Glitter stamping polish here as well as the stamping plate set here.

LVX Spring 2013 Citrine & Indigo Bleu

Hello, lovelies! Today I'm sharing with you two colors from the upcoming LVX Spring 2013 Collection that will be released on March 1st! (You can find the Press Release here)
You can keep posted with upcoming collections, discounts, and other info by liking the LVX Facebook Page!
Also, as you see, I'm sporting stubs right now. Luckily, my nails tend to grow relatively fast so I'm hoping it won't last long! Here is Citrine and Indigo Bleu from the LVX Spring 2013 Collection!
 Two coats of LVX Citrine
Citrine is described as a golden citrus. I feel like this kind of has a mustard look to it, but a little brighter and "citrus-y", so to speak. This was patchy in its first coat but smoothed over by the second. I feel that if you have longer nails this may be a three-coater for you.
Two coats of LVX Indigo Bleu
Indigo Bleu is described as an ultimate navy blue. It is, as the name states, an indigo which I feel leans more on the blue side. (How appropriately named, right?) Really loving this color! It applied easily, hardly needing two coats. As usual, application was fantastic, no complaints!

Mod Lacquer S&R

Today I introduce to you three lovely and easily applied polishes from Mod Lacquer!
You can find them on Jennifer's Etsy shop (linked throughout the post) for $9.50 each!
Two coats of Mod Lacquer Star Seeds
Star Seeds is a sheer black that is packed with an abundance of fine holographic glitter. I can never seem to capture polishes like this well on camera. This is so much more sparkly and eye-catching in person! I really love the combination of a black base with holographic glitter, it's so beautiful to me!
Two coats of Mod Lacquer Verde Montaña
Verde Montaña is described as a pale sheer green jelly base with a variety of colors and different sizes of glitter. I love how pastel this polish is, it really reminds me of Easter. I thought this was really pretty in the bottle, however I had a feeling I wouldn't like it when it came time to applying it. Much to my surprise, I did! It applied so easily, I didn't need to fish for glitter at all, it came right to me!
Two coats of Mod Lacquer Moonbeam
Moonbeam is a bright cyan-like blue that shifts to into a deep purple. (As you can see happened from the center to the side of my nails) I really enjoyed how evident the color shifting in this polish is, I'm such a fan of duo-chromes!

I Love NP S&R

One coat of I Love NP Forever and A Day over LVX Ecru
Forever and a Day is a clear based glitter described as an elegant blend of sheer teal and gold glitters. I really love the elegant/classy look this glitter adds to colors! As soon as I saw it over Ecru, I decided to stop testing it on other colors because I just liked the combination too much.
One coat of I Love NP All Gold Everything over LVX Greige
All Gold Everything is a clear based glitter packed with gold glitters in various sizes.
I love how cute gold glitters look, I've never been one to go after the real gold top coats but I always enjoy a good gold colored glitter polish.
One coat of I Love NP The Deep Sea over Sinful Colors Why Not?
The Deep Sea is a clear based glitter described as a blend of aqua and blue holographic hexes in various sizes with a splash of teal shreds and a slight amount of teal jelly. I really enjoyed how this looked over black, however I was set on using 11:59 over black and I wanted to have a nice variety of undies. I'm happy with how this ended up looking over Why Not? as well, though. I'm loving the variety of blues in this!
One coat of I Love NP 11:59 over LVX Livid
11:59 is a clear based glitter described as an elegant black nail polish accented with the perfect amount of gold glitters and shreds. I was a little unsure about this one in the bottle, however, as I applied it I actually grew quite fond of how it looks. (Especially over black!)

I really enjoyed all of these glitters, none were too thick and had really great coverage in just one coat. You can find these polishes on the I Love NP Etsy page for $10.00 each!

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer S&R

Today I have two lovely polishes to show you from Pomegranate Nail Lacquer, Rose Garden Romance and Fairy Berry, from their new Royal Fairy Tale Collection.
Two coats of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Rose Garden Romance
Rose Garden Romance is a very rich and opaque red creme. I could have stopped with one coat of this but I felt like there was a little bit of VNL on a nail or two. The application was great and easy, my only problem was being a little messy which resulted in some staining on my cuticles. Definitely love how opaque and vibrant this shade is!
One coat of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Fairy Berry
Fairy Berry is an opaque purple-magenta chrome shade. This was surprisingly opaque, which I can't say I expected from either of these polishes in all honesty. I'm definitely pleasantly surprised! I noticed that with this polish, it was different colors in different lighting of my house. It's almost as if it's a dual chrome, however I couldn't capture it on camera. In yellow-toned dim rooms, it was more of a pink violet shade.

You can find these polishes on PomegranateLacquer.com where they retail for $8.50 each.
Pomegranate Nail Lacquer polishes are  "4-free," which means they are formulated without Toluene, Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) or Camphor.

Rhinestone Heart Accent Nail

For this manicure, I used Lime Crime Parfait Day (which was so kindly given to me by Traci of drinkcitra!)
and rhinestones from MASH. The rhinestones come in a small compact wheel which turns easily to create an opening to your color of choice. I have another rhinestone wheel which is from eBay and I've always felt like it was unnecessarily big for the amount it held and it made it more difficult to retrieve the rhinestones. I've really enjoyed how compact and accessible this wheel is.

You can find this 2,400 piece rhinestone wheel here on www.mashnails.com for the price of $7.99 USD.
You can also find 1,200 piece rhinestone wheels for the price of 4.99-6.99 in various shapes such as moons, stars, butterflies, hearts, and tear drops.

Soft & Naked Eyes

Hey guys! Today I have another look for you. I used Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette for this (hence the name) with a tiny bit of help from my Coastal Scents palette. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, my goal was something soft and light that was almost "naked" but still visible. I hope you guys like it!

For this look I used:
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Naked 2 Palette: Foxy (center lid) and Tease (crease and inner/outer corners)
Coastal Scents 88 Color Eyeshadow Palette
Physician's Formula 2-in-1 Eye Booster Eyeliner in Ultra Black
CoverGirl Nature Luxe Mascara in Very Black
False Eyelashes #111 (w/ Ardell lash glue)

Hey guys! Today I have a make-up look for you inspired by Valentines Day. I originally planned on waiting until I got a new camera to start doing make-up posts but I was persuaded to start early. As I'm sure most of you are aware, Valentines Day is right around the corner! Though some of you may be dreading it or simply don't care, we can get through this Valentines Day together! This post can be used for inspiration or simply just to look at, either way I hope you enjoy. ♥

For this look I used:

Maisie Shine Polishes S&R

Today I bring you swatches of three gorgeous Maisie Shine polishes that are to be released tomorrow!
(Swatches are shown with one coat of OTD top coat, excluding Last Call)
Two coats of Maisie Shine Perception
Perception is a dark teal jelly with a gorgeous fuchsia shimmer that shows through wonderfully. This polish was fairly easy to apply, though gets harder if you take your time with it as it dries pretty quickly. When I first swatched this on my nail wheel I was getting what looked like balls/strings of pigment. I haven't had the problem since first swatching it, however. I do suggest checking it on something other than your nails in case it's just something with the polish formula that needs to get out before it's fine.
Two coats of Maisie Shine Splendid
Splendid is a deep purple jelly with gold shimmer that again shows through so nicely, especially in light. I had the same problem with this polish but as I said, it hasn't happened since the first time and everything seems fine now.
Two coats of Maisie Shine Last Call
Last Call is an opaque black polish with silver and holographic glitter. I had zero problems applying this polish--aside from my own fault of being messy. I could have stopped with one coat if not for applying too little with the first coat causing some patchiness on some nails. (As visible on my ring finger which I left out)

I'm Baaack!

Hey everyone!
For those of you who don't follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I got my computer back today!
Unfortunately, they left me a nice number of scratches as well as did an unauthorized system restore causing me to lose all my programs (luckily not my files) so I have a lot of re-installing to do!
I'm working on posts now to get back in the groove, regardless of the negative outcomes I'm so happy to be able to blog again! Until my next post, I'll leave you with a Winter nail design inspired by Pshiiit!
