JORD Wood Watch SIDNEY Series

This is the JORD SIDNEY series Maple & Rose Gold wood watch.
Honestly, I had no idea such a thing as wood watches existed before JORD reached out to me. I've never considered myself a watch person
but it was a really intriguing idea so I had to try it out for myself and see what it's about! This watch has an incredible shine
and reflective rose gold case sheltered by sapphire crystal glass and features a swarovski crystal inlayed bezel.

Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadows

I'm finally getting around to posting about my last Sugarpill purchase from Camera Ready Cosmetics and I'm so happy because I haven't even played with them much until now and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner! These shades are stunning!
These are the Sugarpill ChromaLust Loose Eyeshadows!

Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadows from Camera Ready Cosmetics

Hi loves!
If you've been following me for a while, you most likely know I have a slight (unhealthy) obsession with Sugarpill. The color, pigmentation, longevity.. everything is beautiful to me. Since my last purchase from Camera Ready Cosmetics was so succesful, I decided to take the business of the rest of my Sugarpill wish list (which has since grown..) to Camera Ready Cosmetics!

CRC has super afforable shipping as well as free shipping after $60 (no code necessary). I think my last order ended up being under $4 for shipping, which is awesome. I really dislike having to pay nearly as much in shipping as I am for the product(s) I'm buying.

From the Sugarpill selection, I purchased Magpie, Junebug, Hellatronic, Royal Sugar, and Sparkage!
I officially have all of the ElektroCutes and they're SO gorgeous!
These eyeshadows, as expected from Sugarpill, are incredibly vibrant and pigmented. They are loose eyeshadows so they do take more TLC when applying than pressed eyeshadows but personally for me, it's totally worth it. The outcome is amazing! What you see IS what you get!

Here's a look I did using Hellatronic and Magpie. (Amongst many other Sugarpill products that are listed on my Instagram)

Red Apple Lipstick: Oh My Guava & New York

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hi loves!
Today I have a lipstick review for you from RedAppleLipstick.com!
Red Apple Lipstick is devoted to creating safe makeup products formulated without parabens, gluten, lead, and soy. The lipsticks I'm showing and reviewing for you today are vegan, gluten free, allergen free, paraben free, cruelty free, corn free, and formulated without GMOs. (That's a mouthful, right? Good!)
I can really see how much the people behind RAL care about creating safe and beautiful makeup that women (and men) can wear without worrying about having a reaction. On top of all of the ingredients they make sure to avoid, and all of the high quality ingredients they make sure to include,  Red Apple Lipstick also offers a 6-Month Money Back Guarantee if you are dissatisfied with their product for any reason! Now that you have the technical stuff, let's get onto the pretty lippies, shall we?

Nanshy Eyeshadow Brush Set

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hi loves! I have another Nanshy brush review and to cut to the chase--I'm happy!
These brushes are so soft and have really shown me how much of a difference brushes make, I really wish they had a wider selection! I'm going to try to keep this review short for those of you who may be interested but don't want to read a lot, because I did cover the quality pretty well in my review of the Foundation Brush Set.

PROs:
Extremely soft
Distribute Product Accurately (& Easily!!)
Multi-Purpose
No Shedding
Easy to Clean
Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and Synthetic
Affordable (Approx. $6 per brush)

CONs:
This is less of a con and more of preference, I'd like a wider selection of brushes. The quality is great and I'd like to get my hands on more blending brushes of different assortments. I know they have their Luxury Makeup Brush Set but I personally haven't tried it so I'm not sure how the brushes compare in diversity/similarity.

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with how these brushes have changed my makeup application. I never believed in the hype of brushes and how they "change how your makeup goes on", but it's actually really difficult for me to go back to my old brushes now. Especially since they feel really scratchy compared to these! I try to use these for every purpose possible but, seven brushes can only do so much.

This brush set retails for $44.95 on Amazon.
I highly suggest giving these Nanshy brushes a try if you're looking for some good ones!

Model Co Cosmetics Designer Brow Kit

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hey!!
I have another review of a Model Co Cosmetics products for you all today!
This is their EYEBROWS Designer Brow Kit. If you've been reading ChrissyAi for a while now, you probably know I didn't get into eyebrow products until I was introduced to BDB. I prefer simple, natural looking brows. Anything too dark makes me feel like a cave (wo)man. (I don't say this towards to anyone else who likes dark and defined brows, I'm saying as a personal preference that I feel I look bad with dark brows.) Which is one reason why I love this product!

black|Up Cosmetics Lipstick in 21 & M17

Disclaimer: Post contains PR samples.
black|Up Cosmetics is a brand that's new to me but was one of those brands that immediately drew my attention. I'm a complete sucker for sleek packaging which is probably one of the main reasons I was so excited to try them out!
Today I have two of their lipsticks, 21 and M17.
"Founded in 1999 by an African makeup artist, black|Up Cosmetics is the first dedicated upscale beauty brand to magnify black and mixed beauties. black|Up develops a true expertise answering darker complexion’s specific needs and offers products that pair professional quality and pleasure of use: velvety effects, mat or powdery finishes, perfect coverage, ultra vibrant colors, 100% non-ashy finish... Thanks to its unique offer, black|Up has become a key player in the makeup world that seduces black and mixed women as much as all the makeup addicts of the planet."
At first glance, this brand doesn't exactly seem like I'm it's targeted consumer.
However, you know the old saying don't judge a book by its cover? It applies here.

Lime Crime Fantasy Palette D'Antoinette

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hellloooo!
I've had this gorgeous palette for quite some time now and I'm happy to bring you all this review. Just a warning, if you're a pastel lover like me, this may leave you drooling. The Lime Crime Fantasy Palette D'Antoinette has such an amazing selection of lovely pastel shades with a surprising twist of metallic, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
The best part? They are surprisingly pigmented!

My Current Favorites

Hey everyone!
I haven't done a favorites post in what feels like forever so I figured why not? These aren't ALL my favorites (because I do have a lot..) but I figured this way I could share some and leave some for future posts as well! I hope you enjoy!
Smith Farms Marshmallow Face Cream
"This face cream has been my favorite for a little over a year now.
I got the chance to try it out when I won Jayne’s giveaway for it and ever since I’ve been head over hels for it! It applies smoothly without a greasy or oily finish and absorbs into the skin within minutes. I love that it doesn’t sit on the surface for a long period of time since I use it at night and that would basically result in it transferring to my pillow. Unfortunately, this will most likely be my last bottle of the face cream due to the price increase and shipping cost. As much as I love the product, I think it’s time we part ways until the price becomes more feasible for me." +It also takes such a small amount!!

Glam Polish Supernatural Collection

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hey loves!
Today I have swatches of the Glam Polish Supernatural Collection for you! I'm not super happy with how these turned out but my attempts of re-swatching them didn't go much better. (I think my swatching "mojo" is off..)
Nonetheless, these glitters are so pretty and I loved looking at them while they were on, so I hope you enjoy the swatches!

DIY Sugarpill Pro Palette - Ben Nye 12 Color Palette from CameraReadyCosmetics

Hey loves!
Today I have a super fun (well, I think so..) tutorial for you on how to DIY a Sugarpill Pro Palette using an empty Ben Nye palette from Camera Ready Cosmetics.
First off, to give you some details, the palette is only $9 from the CRC website (guaranteed lowest price!) and it got to me within two days of being shipped at the cost of under $3. (I believe it was $2.90) I don't know about you guys, but this completely blew my mind. The shipping was incredibly fast and so cheap! The palettes came wrapped so securely in the package, I seriously believe CRC knows what they're doing and they will be getting my business whenever I need to purchase something they have.

Mischo Beauty Jackie & Marilyn

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Why hello there, beautiful,
Today I have a couple swatches for you all of Mischo Beauty's Marilyn and Jackie.
Mischo states that it offers a smooth, chip-resistant formula, with long-lasting shine in the most current colors.
They are toxin-free, cruelty-free, and also 5 free.
First off, I love the packaging of these polishes. They have such a sophisticated look and feel and packaging is one of the first things that draws me to a nail polish. (We're all a little shallow, right?)
I'm also really impressed with the formula quality of these polishes and I love that they're cruelty free.
 Two coats of Jackie
Jackie is a bright blue creme. Ugh. Can we just take a moment to admire how gorgeous this color is? Seriously.
I'm a sucker for blues and this is certainly no exception.
Two coats of Marilyn
Marilyn is a bright pink creme-jelly. This polish applied so well, the formula didn't seem to be affected by the brush "problem" I had so that was great to see!

Application Issue
My only issue with this polish is that I feel that the brush is not doing justice for the formula. Like I said, I didn't experience it with Marilyn, but with Jackie I had the problem of streaking. I really don't believe this formula is the problem because if I use a very light hand, the streaking wasn't evident. I feel that the problem is within the brush being a little too short/stiff and putting too much pressure down during application, thus causing streaking. Though I will say, the formula did an extremely well job of evening itself out.
(As you can see from the swatch)

Foxy Paws Polish

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hellloo there!
Today I have a nail post for you guys (YAY, it's been forever, right?!) with swatches of six Foxy Paws polishes.

To give the review part to these polishes, I was so pleasantly surprised to how well these applied! The formulas are thin and pigmented which made application incredibly easy. The only slightly difficult one was the glow in the dark, Just A Meaningless Kiss, which wasn't anything extreme it was just a little thicker but also only took one coat! The holographic polishes I swatched had such a nice amount of holo, it was really shocking and I probably stopped to look at them a for at least a minute.
The thermal polish in this selection, Love Changes Everything, is actually my first thermal and it was so fun to see how it changes!
My only disappointment here is how my camera reacted to the darker colors on my skintone, I seriously need to work that out!
Two coats of Love Changes Everything

LVX Winter Resort 2014 Collection

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Two coats of Avalon
Avalon is a bronze creme polish with rose gold and brown undertones/shimmer.
LVX suggests pairing this categorical copper with silver for a contrasting and daring look.
Two coats of Caviar
Caviar is LVX's, first ever, jet set textured creme polish.
Two coats of Graphite
Graphite is a true silver chrome metallic.
LVX suggests pairing Graphite with their very own Magenta.
Two coats of Magenta
Magenta is a metallic fuschia creme.
LVX suggests pairing this refreshing bright hue with Sapphire and silver hues.
Two coats of Sappir
Sappir is a sapphire described to have complex gray undertones.
LVX suggests pairing this intrepid color with silver and gray for an ultra chic look.
Two coats of Scarlet
Scarlet, my personal favorite, is a stunning maroon based metallic with gorgeous shimmer that is absolutely captivating when it hits the light. LVX suggests pairing this refreshing bright hue with Sapphire and silver hues.

As usual, the formulas of these polishes were effortless with the exception of Caviar. The formula was a little more dry than usual but I'm also used to using a thinner application in order to be precise, with a thicker application I had no problem. I highly recommend trying out these polish, especially the gorgeous Scarlet!

Wonder Beauty Products Winter Collection

Disclaimer: This post contains press samples.
Hello loves!!
Today I have half of the new Wonder Beauty Products Winter Collection.
Unfortunately, I'm not quite caught up with other swatches so I figured I'd better stick to half to be able to get them done quicker. You can find swatches of the other three which are just as gorgeous! Also, as I was swatching these, I immediately noticed that the "salon smell" that I noticed in the Prismatic polishes wasn't present in these, definitely a pleasant aspect!
