Winged Liner Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I have a makeup tutorial for you on a simple everyday winged liner look! This is typically what I do when I go to do winged liner (with the exception of when I'm feeling creative for blog posts).

For this look, I went to Walgreens looking for all the right products to create an everyday look! I have to say that Walgreens made this incredibly easy.. but also incredibly difficult. I don't know about other Walgreens, but mine was almost overwhelming it had SUCH a large selection of products! I walked in and had no idea where to start, there was so much to choose from but luckily I had an idea of what I wanted. I initially had in mind I wanted a medium coverage foundation, concealer, and an eyeliner that would give me precision to use for wings! Now.. of course I ended up with more than planned. I mean.. look at all the options!

DIY Sugarpill Pro Palette - Ben Nye 12 Color Palette from CameraReadyCosmetics

Hey loves!
Today I have a super fun (well, I think so..) tutorial for you on how to DIY a Sugarpill Pro Palette using an empty Ben Nye palette from Camera Ready Cosmetics.
First off, to give you some details, the palette is only $9 from the CRC website (guaranteed lowest price!) and it got to me within two days of being shipped at the cost of under $3. (I believe it was $2.90) I don't know about you guys, but this completely blew my mind. The shipping was incredibly fast and so cheap! The palettes came wrapped so securely in the package, I seriously believe CRC knows what they're doing and they will be getting my business whenever I need to purchase something they have.

Billion Dollar Brows Products Review

Disclaimer: This post contains product(s) provided for my honest review.
Well, hello there gorgeous!
I'm reviewing a few products from Billion Dollar Brows today which, much to my surprise, I'm really liking!
It's really difficult for me to find brow products I like because I'm not a fan of full/dark brows on myself so when I fill in my brows I like it to look as natural as possible and not "thick". Oddly enough, getting into beauty I think caring about my eyebrows came last. I used to always ask my friend to pluck my brows because I was lost and didn't think I'd ever understand how. Luckily.. I found my way.
Step 1 : Starting clean and bare, I brush through my brows with the BDB Brow Brush spoolie end.
Step 2 : I created my outline with the BDB Universal Brow Pencil.
Step 3 : Here, I blended the outline with the brush of the Brow Brush.
Step 4 : Brushing through with the spoolie end of the Universal Brow Pencil.
Step 5 : Using the BDB Brow Powder in Light Brown, a little too warm for me, I fill in areas I feel need it.
Step 6 : Spoolie through the brows again and voila! Done!
I'm not really a pencil person when it comes to filling in my brows but I have to say, this is the best one I've ever tried. It matches perfectly, blends great, and can go fairly light (as shown in the photo demo) for a very natural look. This pencil matches both myself and Alexis, I'd say it definitely meets its' claim of being universal. If you're struggling to find a good pencil, please give this one a try!
I've yet to find an eyebrow product that matches me as great as this one, I would definitely repurchase.
BDB Brow Powder in Light Brown - $18
For this product, I want to emphasize my disappointment isn't within the quality of this powder but the color. This powder has a great and lasting pigmentation and I love that it is buildable rather than opaque color. As I said, I like it to go as natural as possible since I'm blonde, I prefer not to sport dark, intense eyebrows. However, this shade is much too warm for my eyebrows. Based on the website, I would think that the shade Taupe would match perfectly but because it matches Alexis makes me think otherwise.
The price does seem steep but if I could find a shade that matched me well I would repurchase.
Being entirely honest, I haven't yet found anything extraordinary about this brush. It is excellent quality and I'd say the best brow brush I own. With that being said, I only have one other brow brush. The brush side of this duo-ended tool has nicely packed bristles which create a dense, but still flexible applicator. The bristles are also extremely soft. The end tip of the brush is fine which is one of the things that makes it a lot better than my other eyebrow tool. However, I'd have to say I find the spoolie end more useful to me! It's very firm, which I didn't like at all at first, but it's able to grab every hair and brush it into place, which is a big thing to me.
In the end, I'm very happy with this brush and if you can justify the $16, I say go for it!

I am loving and strongly liking all of these products. My only disappointment is the shade not matching me in the powder.
Bottom line, if you're still in search for eyebrow products that will work for you and have the money, I highly recommend giving these a try! However, if you have your holy grail routine..don't fix what isn't broken, right?

So tell me..
What are your favorite eyebrow products? Will you be giving these billion dollar brow products a try?

The Nightmare Before Christmas Nail Art

Hi there ghouls and goblins,
I did a mani based on The Nightmare Before Christmas and figured why not do a video tutorial along with it?
I'm usually all over Halloween nail art, I've been waiting for it all year, so I'm pretty upset I haven't done much of it! I've been busy but hoping I'll have more free time this coming up week so I can really catch up on it.

What nail art will you be sporting this Halloween? Is there anything you'd like to see me do?

Navy to Army

The idea for the Navy manicure arose because I have a friend who's in the Navy and I told him a while ago that I would do nail art based off of the Navy Work Uniform. However, creating the design of the Army Combat Uniform is centered around my brother.
Keep reading to see the tutorial for this technique as well as the story behind the manicure.

Stud Manicure Tutorial with Born Pretty Store Studs

This post contains product(s) provided to me for my honest review.

Hello lovelies!
I recently did a stud manicure tutorial which I kind of had no direction for when I started but I ended up really liking the end result!
It was very simple to do and it has an classy and edgy feel, I believe.
The studs I used for this tutorial are from Born Pretty Store.
They are 1.5mm, which I felt would be too small but ended up being perfect for my nails! If you remember the last time I got studs, they were too big for my nails and ended up looking way too silly!
I had a tough time deciding whether to get round studs or square but I'm more than happy that I chose the round.
The studs seem to be great quality, they're a nice gold color and I haven't noticed any color chipping. I was also able to take these off and reuse them when I was finished with this manicure!
I also used a wax rhinestone pick-up pen from BPS which made the application incredibly easy!

Review: Born Pretty Store Nail Foil

This post contains product(s) provided to me for my honest review.

For the first foil manicure I did, I used LVX Cerulean as my base and the LVX 3-in-1 Treatment to create the tacky surface needed to apply these foils. The foils I used are #6 and #2. LOVING this combination!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out how easily this foil applied, I had thought that it would be more difficult than it actually is. They're extremely vibrant metallic foils that you basically stick on and pull away to get the color.
Below I've included a manicure in which I used #2 along with a video tutorial on how to use the foils! :)
-Apply your color of choice and let it dry completely.
-Apply a clear coat of nail polish and let it dry approximately 50-70%. You want it to be tacky but NOT wet.
-Press on the shiny side of the foil (the non-colorful side) and pull the foil away from the nail.

What do you think of these nail foils? Planning on trying them?
