June Favorites!

Hellooo beauties!
Today's post is *drum roll* June Favorites!
I didn't do a favorites for the month of May due to the fact that I'm not really one to try many new products each month and I feel it's kind of pointless to put the same monthly favorites each month.
(Not to say that previous favorites aren't favorites anymore, they still are!)
However, this month I have some different favorites!

inm's Out The Door Top Coat
I won't say too much about this top coat since I did a review on it. (Link)
Basically, it's smooth, keeps my mani lasting so much longer, and adds a great shine to my nails. I love it!

Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Masara
I posted an instagram image of this with the caption "I'm in love <3" and I very much am.
I got a deluxe sample of this mascara with the Naked 2 palette my boyfriend ordered for me.
(He let me get out two samples, my brother did it for me so I didn't see the palette, hehe)
I really can't express how much I love this. It curls my lashes so well and has really cute packaging. I'm going to try to make my next post a review on it. It is the first high end mascara I've tried, so I can't compare it to any others and it could be a normal thing amongst other high end ones.
However, it works the best for me out of all of my other drugstore ones. Even my mom said wow!

Biotin (1,000 MCG)
I've recently been working Biotin into my everyday routine. From what I notice, it's working wonders. I recently started birth control for menstrual reasons, so I can't say for sure that Biotin is the reason my skin has stayed so clear but I think it may be. It has also made my nails stronger, which are usually as weak as paper.
Also! I don't want to say for sure, because I have no proof (before/after pictures) but I feel like my lashes have gotten fuller and longer.

Urban Decay's 24/7 Concealer Stick in CIA
As odd as it may be, I actually don't use this necessarily for my face. I find this concealer to be a great base before I apply my Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake. I have pretty pigmented lips, so if I don't put down some type of light base it ends up being too dark for my liking. However, when I apply this on my lips before hand, it gives me such a lovely baby pink! The only problem I find with this and the revlon lip butter, is that is accentuates all of the lines on your lips.

Physician's Formula 2-in-1 Eye Booster in Ultra Black
I absolutely love this eyeliner. I find that it isn't completely opaque on its own, at least with the 1-2 coats I put on, but when I put it on top of another eyeliner.. wow. It's such a dark black and I think it works to help set what I put under it as well. This eyeliner is so long wearing (I wear it over UD Primer Potion) and it intensifies whatever black I'm wearing into a literal ultra black. It has easy application and I just love it.

bareMinerals Clear Radiance
I'm really liking this because it's kind of like a 2-in-1 for me. It's kind of a highlighter + blush in one. I really don't have any blushes, so I was glad when I remembered I had this and tried it out. It gives a sheer amount of pink tint to my cheeks and has shimmer in it which helps to illuminate them at the same time! (I was wearing it in my Revlon Colorstay Foundation review pictures.) It's very subtle but I think it does make a nice difference to finish up my face.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 110 Ivory
Once again, I won't say too much about this product either because I have a review on it. (Link)
It is medium to full coverage, gives a beautiful finish, and very long wearing. It makes my skin look better than most foundations I've tried, I want to say better than any of them.

Ardell's Lash Grip Eyelash Adhesive in Clear
I really love this lash glue because one: it keeps my lashes in place all day and two: it has such easy removal!
I see a lot of products for lash glue removal, and I'm not sure if anyone else would consider it a good thing, but I can easily remove my false lashes at the end of the day by just pulling them off. Don't get the wrong idea, this doesn't budge on me throughout the day, so I was really surprised it removes so easily. (When I say end of the day, I mean at least 4 hours of wear. I'm not sure how easy it would be to remove after newly applied and dried.)

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Too Cool
I recently did a look with this that I was really in love with, and it may be simply because of that eye look that it's my favorite this month. It can be kind of hard to get the color to show opaque, which is one downside, but it is a nice shimmery white color.

Certain Dri Roll-On Anti-Perspirant
This is wonderful and I highly recommend it. My mom actually introduced me to this because she does have a problem with over perspiring and said that this has been the only thing throughout her life that has stopped it. The best part is, you don't even have to remember to use it everyday!
Keep in mind, this isn't a deodorant. I believe you use it for 2-3 days straight and then you only have to use it every two days.
This keeps me from sweating even in Florida heat! Good-bye ugly pit stains!

Wet N' Wild 'Spoiled' in Did I Dye It Too Blonde?
The reason I chose this as a favorite is because I love what it does. It definitely isn't opaque on its own, which was kind of disappointing, but I love how it turns basically any color I put it on into a neon-like color. (Though some just do not work out that way) I put it on top of white and it is such a bright neon yellow, when I put it on top of Revlon's Minted it turned into a neon green, and when I put it on top of a lighter pink I have, it was a more toned down neon yellow. So I think the name suits it well, since it's 'Did I Dye It Too Blonde?' and it does kind of work like a 'dye' on top of nail polishes.

That concludes my favorites for June!
I really hoped you guys enjoyed reading and I can't wait to see other bloggers' favorites.

P.S: One of my favorite bloggers, CosmeticProof, is having a Birthday Giveaway!
Happy Birthday, Jayne!

Thanks for reading!

  1. omg I really enjoyed reading what you had to say about each product!
I really need to try using a concealer pencil over my lips! I like that you do that! My lips aren't too pigmented, but I know when I use certain colors, they don't show up how I would like them too.
I think it's awesome that the Certain Dri works for you! My fiance uses it too and it's cool that after a few times of using it, you don't have to use it all the time!
That Did I Dye It Too Blonde? nail polish seems fun to play around with! :D
    Great post, Christa!!

    1. Yay, thanks, Traci! I think it really helps show the true color of the lip color you apply. I would definitely try it with lipsticks you may have tossed aside because you weren't satisfied with the color. (:
Oh awesome, I love that too. I never seem to keep up with a routine if I have so many things to do in it.
I think it is fun to play with! (: Thanks!

  2. Awww, thank you for the birthday shout out! That's so sweet! I think we share a couple of all-time make up favourites, like the OTD Topcoat and PF Eyeliner. Those two things are now my holy grail products. Can't live without them! That WnW nail polish sounds VERY interesting. I guess it lives up to its name huh?
