Floral Nails

So I wanted to try something new and a little more challenging with my nails to see how it'd turn out and I decided on floral designs with stripes since floral seems to be really in right now.

I used:
China Glaze For Audrey + Revlon Minted for the base under the flowers
Sinful Colors Pink Forever for the first flower color
Sinful Colors Easy Going for the second flower color and base color under the stripes
L.A Colors Nail Art Striper in White for the stripes and detailing on the flowers
A mix of SC Unicorn, L.A Colors black, and Revlon Minted to create the darker green for the leaves
(Because sadly, I don't have a darker green)

Thanks for reading!

  6. Oooooh nicely done! If I ever have to paint something complicated, I practice what I have in my head on a nail wheel. That way, I'll have a better sense of what to do and how to do it. Nothing worse than screwing up your photo hand...

Oooh? I don't have any but that sounds like a better idea than going right into without knowing what to do or expect, haha. I agree!

    1. Thank you so much! No worries, I used to too. It took practice and the more I did it I really noticed me getting better. I think it's more about what works for you and chances are you'll find out with practice. I personally start in the middle of my nail with a small amount of polish and then work back to around the cuticle so that 'flooding' doesn't happen. I clean with with a small brush and nail polish remover if needed. Hope that helps!

  14. Oh cool thank you I will try that! It's tricky with my son because sometimes my nails will be drying and he will wake up and start crying then I ruin them from picking him up... first world problems lol
