Bloody Zombie Nails

Appetizing, isn't it?
Hello lovelies! Today I did a zombie manicure and I'm pretty proud of myself, it turned out better than I thought.
I got the idea after I did my mani of the 'spooky' house and trees.
With the help of a makeup sponge, nail polish, and photoshop to create a more dead looking skin tone, the zombie nails were born! ..or created.
(All of the color adding, besides the base color, was done using torn up pieces of a make up sponge)

How I did it:
I started off with China Glaze First Mate as my base color. Then, using a torn piece of a makeup sponge, I dabbed on China Glaze Let's Groove across my nails. (This isn't sounding very zombie like yet, is it?)
After that, I used China Glaze Papaya Punch, again with a make up sponge. I lightly added this on all my nails, making sure not to have too much polish on the sponge. You want a light amount of the color, not a bright orange. You'll start seeing a bit of the zombie affect coming in. After that, I mixed in CG Liquid Leather and Snow, I wanted a dark grey. Use more black than white. Again, use a small amount. You want a little of each color, not one color taking over. Then, I used China Glaze Holly-Day. I decided to add Liquid Leather all around the border of my nail except on my free edge. I then applied BK's Super Matte Surface Oil Top Coat. I cleaned up with a Q-Tip and then used China Glaze Brownstone for a dried blood look. I also added this messily around my nail. Finally, I dabbed on some Confetti The Red Carpet for a more fresh blood look.

I know it seems like a lot of steps, but it actually took me less than twenty minutes to finish the manicure.
I was thinking about doing a tutorial for it but I'm not sure if it'd really be necessary, what do you think?
