Hi loves! ♥ Today's post is sharing with you some of my Summer Beauty essentials!
I've been pretty excited for this post because living in Florida gives me a pretty good environment to find out what does and doesn't work in Summer heat and I have some makeup tips to share with you!
The products I'm showing you today were purchased at my local Walgreens.
Luckily for me, there were a lot of great sales happening!

First off, a strong, long lasting base is the key product in my opinion when it comes to Summer essentials and keeping your makeup lasting throughout the day. For this, I love the Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation.
You could substitute this with the liquid foundation if you already have that, I personally prefer this because there is no pump option with either formula and this application is easier for me with my spatula.
This foundation gives a flawless, full coverage finish without being cake-y. I can cover all my blemishes and spots with this one product alone and I love that! Most of us don't even want to bother applying makeup when having to face the Summer heat, but  with that being said, for some of us it's not an option to go bare!
For you beauties who don't like to wear makeup without a primer, avoid anything silicone based unless you know from experience that it's long wearing on you. It tends not to last as long and can move around after hours of wear.

My next beauty essential is another one from Revlon and it is their ColorBurst Lip Butters!
This product is by no means long lasting, but it doesn't claim to be. My personal preference when playing down the eyes (which I suggest doing when facing heat) is to add a pop of color to your lips! This will really help brighten up your complexion overall and give a pop to your natural beauty. These lip butters are super moisturizing and though they don't last long, they're a piece of cake to reapply and toss in your bag! The two colors I chose are Juicy Papaya and Tutti Frutti!

Last for makeup, I have the N.Y.C Sunny Bronzer!
I've been using this little guy off and on for a few years and it seems I always come back to him when I need a nice glow! What time is better for glowing than Summer? Using a powder bronzer will also help the longevity of your makeup, as opposed to using a cream or liquid which is much more likely to move if not set. Having to set cream/liquid means using two more products instead of just one.
You can also cut back on products and time by using this as an eye shadow to warm them up with some color as well as set them for those of us who get oily there!

Now moving onto skin and hair.
Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Ultra Radiance Lotion SPF 30
This is an essential I strongly suggest (and urge) you not to skip! The sun can be so damaging to our skin and it's something you'll have for the rest of your life, it'll never get younger! Keep damage to a minimum and use sunscreen whenever you plan on being out in the sun, even if not for long. I highly recommend this one as it is oil free, broad spectrum SPF 30 and claims to be water resistant. It also applies wonderfully! It doesn't leave a greasy feel after application, it feels like an actual lotion and it smells SO good! I am thoroughly impressed, which I have never said about a sunscreen before!

Last, but certainly not least, Mark Hill Fabulous Finish Hairspray.
If you have found your holy grail hairspray or you're just not a hairspray person, you can skip this essential. I personally still have not found a hairspray I'm head over heels in love with but this one is my favorite so far! I haven't noticed that it leaves any sticky or hard residue on my hair after application and it has a pleasant smell to it! I have a lot of hairs that like to stick out and start their own show when my hair is up (which is a must for me, having long hair and living in Florida) and this hairspray really helps hold everything in place!

Also, until August 30th, you are able to get a free travel-size make-up brush set with any $20 beauty and/or personal care purchase! Visit the link for details!

I'd love to know what your beauty essentials are!
Are any of these products on your list? Have any recommendations for me? I'd love to know!!
