Neon with Glitter Accent

I am entirely in love with Flip Flop Fantasy (Thank you, Traci!) and this picture doesn't do either of these
polishes justice because they're both so gorgeous and a little hard to capture on camera.

I used:
(Snow Globe, Nova, Flip Flop Fantasy)
I used Flip Flop Fantasy and for the accent nail I used about three coats of Nova and one coat of Snow Globe.

 Nova

Snow Globe

P.S, I used the Elmer's Glue method that I saw Jayne post about and I am so impressed!
I couldn't help but think it was too good to be true, but the glitter polish peeled right off, no hassle, no damage!

ANDDD.. for those of you who don't know, it's a very awesome person's birthday today!
(Which would also be dad's birthday.. but I mean another awesome person!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRACI!!!
Be sure to visit her at drinkcitra.com and give her lots of birthday love!
She's such an amazing person & blogger and deserves lots of birthday wishes.
Love youuu! ♥

Thanks for reading!

  1. Your nails are stunning! If I didn't have a thesis to type up I think I'd attempt to let them grow out as long as yours :)
Such a great manicure, you can never go wrong with neon and glitter!

    1. I think I'll do a post about it, hehe. Basically, you apply Elmer's glue to your nails in place of a base coat and let it dry completely. Then you apply the glitter polish of choice. Once you're ready to take it off, you just kind of pick at the end nearest to your cuticle and it'll start to peel off. I personally use my nail but in tutorials they use sticks.

  5. Flip flop fantasy is one of my fave shades from China Glaze!

I paired it once with a silver polish for the accent nail, but this looks fantastic as well!

    1. I did! I was actually too curious to see if it'd work to leave it on, haha. I left it on overnight but peeled it off the next afternoon. (Did my nails in the evening)
It lasted for as long as I let it, though! I did, I could see the layer that was formed from all the clear and glitter, it looked as thick as acrylic! Thank you :D

And I'm so excited to try out that candy 'sushi' kit! I thought it was just gummies inside and you kind of put stuff together..but then I saw the video and oh, how I was wrong..
So many goodies, thank you so much!!

Hehe, I have the clear elmer's glue because I couldn't find the white (I don't think it matters? but I'm not sure) and it's worked fine. Though I think I used too thin of a layer last time because when I went to take off my I'm Not Lion swatch.. it was pretty difficult. Not as difficult as without, because it was mainly the tips giving me the trouble.
It is! It's funny because my grandpa's birthday was the 20th (today), my dad's was the 19th, mine is the 17th, and one of my sister's is the 16th. Lots of september babies!
