Floral Spring Nail Art

Hi lovelies!
Today I have some floral nail art for you. This is actually the first time (that I recall) doing floral pattern nail art and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I definitely didn't expect it to go so well since I always envisioned it being a blob-infested disaster..
For the first mani I did with this floral nail art, I used LVX Porcelaine, Aster, Lemondrop, Lolli, Avireo, and Viridian.
As well as La Couleur Couture 1963.
Base: Porcelaine | Yellow & Purple Watercolor: Lemondrop & Aster | Pink: Lolli | Green: Avireo & Viridian | Rose Outline: 1963
For the second mani, I used LVX Porcelaine, Aster, Lemondrop, Lolli, Avireo, Viridian, and Viola.
La Couleur Couture 1963 was used as previously as well.
Base: Porcelaine | Color Lines: Lemondrop, Aster, Viridian, & Viola.

Spring Into Fall!

Konnichiwa!
I hope you guys have had a great week! I'm so happy that Fall is coming despite it still feeling like the middle of Summer here in Florida. Fall has been my favorite season and I hate that we don't really 'get the season' here. However, that doesn't stop me from loving the colors and fashion trends.
I love doing colorful manis so even though it's soon to be Fall--I'm still stuck in Spring.
Base coat: LaCC 2012 | Top Coat: None
White: MASH White Nail Polish
Blue: Essie Bikini So Teeny
Coral/Pink: LVX Deco
Pink: LaCC 1960
Purple: Born Pretty Store BK Candy Nail Polish #26
Glitter: Born Pretty Store

So tell me, what's your favorite part of Fall? Personally, I'm anxiously awaiting the return of eggnog!

Pink & Red Infused Watercolor Nail Art

Disclaimer: This post contains product(s) provided to me by the company.
Haiiiii!
I have another watercolor mani for you today. I absolutely love how the colors look together with this technique.
It's sort of taken sponging's spot as my favorite. Yeah. Maybe. We'll see how long it lasts.
For this nail art, I used a base of LVX Deco. Over it, I used La CC 1960, 1950, and 1945.
Lastly, I used LVX Chambord ever so slightly on my ring finger.
If you haven't seen it, I also have a how-to video on watercolor nails on my YouTube!

What's been your favorite nail art technique lately? Have you tried out watercolor? If so, what are your favorite color combinations?
I'd love to know!

S&R: La Couleur Couture (Part 1)

Disclaimer: This post contains product(s) provided to me by the company.

Today, as I'm sure you can tell by now, I'm showing you guys a part 1 of my la couleur couture swatches.
I kept the details short in this post because all of the polishes applied basically the same.
The formulas were very workable and the I love the brushes, they make application quite enjoyable!
The colors are so vibrant and gorgeous, I honestly don't have any complaint about them!
If you've read my blog for a while, then you probably know I'm not the biggest fan of pink. However, all of these colors have had me drooling! I can't pick out even one that I don't like.

For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, "la couleur couture is a unique vegan friendly nail lacquer collection formulated without toxic and harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate, camphor and toluene."
You can read more about la cc here.

Water Decal Mani w/ La CC Polish

This post contains product(s) provided to me by the company.

Recently I received a package from Born Pretty Store that contained unexpected random items. Soon I found out that the package was sent to me by mistake, however I offered to review them so that the products weren't a complete waste. Thus, this mani was born! The water decals used can be found here in number BOP192-195.
They were a lot easier to apply than I thought and I'm planning on doing a Youtube tutorial on how to do it because I actually figured it'd be a lot more difficult than it is. So glad it was easy!
The base color I used for this mani is the gorgeous La Couleur Couture 1957.
Have you tried water decals? How was your experience? I'd love to know!

Raindrop Inspired Nail Art with Watercolor Accent

This post contains product(s) provided to me by the company.
See my Disclaimer for more information.
For this mani, I used Essie Bikini So Teeny for the base on all nails. For the watercolor accent nail, I used LVX Callais, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, and La Couleur Couture 1976. For the rhinestones, I used a nail art wheel from eBay (larger) and the MASH Rhinestone Wheel (smaller) for the "water drops".

I have a lot of swatches coming for you guys! I can't wait to share them with you but I didn't want to leave you with nothing during this busy time. I'm hoping to squeeze in an all watercolor mani in between swatching and maybe even make a video tutorial of it, I'd love make more use out of my YouTube account!
